At BriarBrothers, we believe involvement in the community is important to foster relationships with the people who make us what we are. We're always looking for opportunities to engage with the local Buffalo community through engagement in local events and support of groups who make the region so unique.

Savages Hockey Club

Beer league sports are an important part of staying active in adulthood and getting together with friends. BriarBrothers is a proud sponsor of Savages Hockey Club, a member of the HarborCenter Adult Hockey League. The Savages know how to have a great time both on and off the ice so they were a logical choice for our first sports partnership. We even went as far as creating a collaborative beer with them that their fans are able to enjoy before they hit the ice, while unwinding after a hard fought win, or in the taproom as part of their post-game celebrations.

Buffalo Shamrock Run

Buffalo's Shamrock Run is an annual 8k race that takes place throughout the First Ward neighborhood and the surrounding areas. The unofficial start to the St. Patrick's Day season, it's a great opportunity for runners of all skillsets to emerge after a long winter, celebrate the area's rich tradition, and enjoy a few beers with friends and family. We've been beyond excited about the welcoming we've received from the neighborhood so we'll be adding to the event the best way we know how. Check out what we've got planned and sign up to participate in one of the region's most popular runs!
